We had a lovely meal here. My wife and I are on holiday from England and we enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. It's opposite the train station, which was ideal, not too expensive, and the food was delicious.

Dinner last night on the terrace. Pleasant. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable bill, I recommend it.

A must-visit bar and brasserie in Vitré, right in the heart of the old town on the train station square, a 5-minute walk from the castle. A great day trip idea, easily accessible by TER train from Laval or Rennes.

Good food. But the service was too slow. The waitress left in the middle of our meal (1:30 pm) to eat herself. We were waiting for her to order our dessert. But after 45 minutes, with our main course plates still uncleared, we went to the counter to ask for our bill. And no tip was given! We left disappointed despite our good meal, but without having had dessert or coffee elsewhere...

Great place, really enjoyed the food and drinks. The guy at the bar Lukas was a top lad! Took good care of me and my friends. Would highly recommend.

Friendly welcome, good daily menu, clean. But the most interesting thing for me was discovering that this establishment was my grandfather's cinema during and after the war. A truly moving experience.

Having been a regular customer, I've noticed a very slight drop in quality and a bit of shrinkage, though it's pretty much everywhere. Still, it's pleasant and not bad. However, I hate unpeeled potato fries. It wouldn't take much to get it back to its former glory.
