Bistrot Gourmand Clovis sur Tourrettes-Sur-Loup

Truly one of the best meals of our lives was here, easily Top 5. I was told they had a Michelin star just a few years back, and I easily believe it. It's hard to even describe the dishes, as they just kept outdoing themselves. We were fortunate enough to get one of the two tables outside the entrance, so our meal was enhanced by the village views. To top it off, they open for wine and cocktails much earlier than the restaurant opens, and once again: easily Top 5 for Old Fashions, something I never expected in France.The owner hand makes parts of it, and when you have a chef of his caliber putting his heart and soul into that...insane smooth and delicious. The owner, and people who worked there, are amazing company, extremely knowledgeable about the village and surrounding area. I've traveled extensively and lived in food cities, and I will tell you that this is World Class food.

This small bistro in one of the region's most beautiful mountain villages is well worth a visit. The cuisine is creative, focusing on seasonal and regional produce. Typical are the set menus centered around a main ingredient (during our visit – melon, cod, and beef), which can also be combined. Everything that came out of the truly tiny kitchen was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The very friendly service (this time by the owner himself) contributed greatly to a relaxing experience. The wine list is also commendable. We'll gladly return.

An excellent culinary experience during a family birthday celebration, with a deliberately limited selection of starters, main courses, and desserts all based on a featured ingredient (asparagus, duckling, or trout for our meal). The dishes were perfect, both in seasoning and cooking. The sheep's cheese dessert is a must-try. Warm and welcoming service.

A truly wonderful gastronomic experience in the heart of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. The food is delicious, a real treat for the taste buds. The atmosphere is also charming and very pleasant for dinner. The only drawbacks were a slightly long wait between courses and a lack of bread to accompany the meal, which was a shame because the sauces were delicious. Despite this, the quality is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
