Bistrot La Farandouille sur Machecoul

Thank you for the wonderful time we spent at your place. We discovered it by chance during a stroll, and we had lunch one Sunday at the Bistrot de la Farandouille. It was sublime. The food was excellent, both the main courses and the desserts, and everything was made with love. Both of us were so kind, with smiles and genuine warmth. Thank you again.

Excellent place for lunch. Shrimp starter 🍤, main course, dessert for €16.90 at lunchtime on weekdays, and the food and service were both high quality. I highly recommend it. Closed in the evenings and on Mondays and Tuesdays.

A very pleasant surprise! We came for lunch with our group of motorcyclists last Saturday. The food was truly excellent; I had the andouillette sausage, which was superb. For dessert, the French toast was one of the best I've ever had. Honestly, if you're passing through on your way to the coast, stop by. I highly recommend it.

Excellent calf's head, served with gribiche sauce, ravigote sauce, and a good variety of cuts. The French toast was good, but perhaps a few spices could have given it a bit more depth (for example, cinnamon or a touch of nutmeg). The chef is very friendly; he comes around to each table and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Babies are welcome! A very good bistro!

Excellent little bistro, the meat was tender and delicious, the dessert exquisite. You get a reasonable price and a full stomach, I highly recommend it! Of course, the staff and owners are also very friendly :)

The price seems a bit high at first glance, but once you see your plate, you'll understand why. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent; our little ones even received a beautiful presentation of their meals. A very pleasant surprise on our holiday road trip!
