Bistrot Saint Pierre sur Lugny

We had a wonderful time; the traditional cuisine was delicious, and the service was pleasant and professional. There's a lovely selection of wines at good value. And the best part: the superb view over the vineyards!

The location is spectacular. You can enjoy peace and quiet. The girls who run the service are quick, kind, and attentive. The menu isn't very extensive but offers interesting options, and everything we ate was delicious and reasonably priced. If you're passing through, give it a try...we weren't disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, which was our first time visiting. We enjoyed a delicious meal with impeccable service and very friendly waitresses. You'll have a splendid view of the vineyards and the Lugny hill. It was a great find and excellent value for money. The rib steak was superb! 👌

Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed on several points: - The menus displayed on your website were outdated and therefore different from those on the menu. We asked for a change to one dish (the pike-perch, which was also less expensive than others, and was available on another menu), but this was refused. Yet it is clearly listed on the online menu... - The menu priced over €69 can only be ordered if the entire table orders it (this is neither specified nor advertised). The justification is acceptable (slower service compared to other menus), but we would have preferred to have been aware of this beforehand. - The duck breast dish was much smaller than the other dishes. - The desserts were good but small. - A 2-hour and 15-minute meal for about 40 people seemed very long... (we had a reservation). - A superb terrace, but if you're on the wrong side, it gets very, very hot and very quickly!! - All desserts are available on the €36 set menu, but 3 of the 5 à la carte options are extra (well, you can decide for yourself on that). - We were reassured (when my partner was hesitating between two desserts) by being told that a sample of the waffle would be included in the gourmet coffee; unfortunately, we're still looking for it. - The reason I'm writing this review is that we were charged the price of the alcoholic cocktail we ordered (if that was even possible). A virgin piña colada (which was tasteless and had a lot of ice to drown it) at €9.50 is simply highway robbery. A small gesture of goodwill would have sufficed, or simply informing us that the price would be the same as the alcoholic version. And when we pointed this out upon seeing the bill, we were told, "Oh no, it's the same price as with alcohol!" "Really?!" "Yes." End of conversation! In conclusion, we ate well, but at that price, ultimately, no. On a positive note: the (sweet?) sauce on the chicken strips was wonderful. My partner's poached egg in red wine sauce was perfect, and his beef skewer was very good (the final cooking with a blowtorch wasn't an added bonus, as it was already very hot and the meat remained almost rare inside). The view was magnificent, and the service was pleasant. At the end, we were asked if we were from the area, but that won't be a reason to return.

A wonderful family meal, from appetizer to dessert. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The terrace was particularly pleasant. We highly recommend it.

The restaurant's setting is magnificent, overlooking the vineyards. A warm welcome and a dynamic team. The amuse-bouche was much appreciated. The ingredients are well-prepared. The menu would be perfect if a vegetarian option were available. We will return to try the pochouse. Large parking lot in front.
