Passing through Flaine for three days, I had the opportunity to rent equipment from Black Side. A fantastic welcome with immediate availability and expert advice that allowed me to choose some great skis for a powder session. I was then able to test new skis each day to develop a real comparative feel (which isn't always easy). A big thumbs up to Lionel and France who also arranged for me to have boot fittings done by adjusting their schedule so I could address recurring pain. In addition to the ideal location, I highly recommend them for the quality of their advice and equipment. Thank you!

Nice concept. It's lovely to drink an enhanced hot chocolate after a day on the slopes, sitting in a cozy chair covered with a blanket. The prices are typical for a resort, but the size and taste were excellent. It's a must-try, I'll tell you about it.

We went to this ski rental shop/café to enjoy the Liège waffles from the food truck. They were excellent. There is a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it! All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

A fantastic welcome and professional, friendly service. Bastien is very professional, attentive, and welcoming. After four years of foot pain with my boots, he adjusted them by listening to my needs and precisely correcting my equipment. It's a pleasure to have this level of expertise and kindness at the resort. Highly recommended.

17/03/2026: A very nice place right in the center of Les Carroz. Good food. A minor drawback was the fries, which were frozen and of poor quality for a restaurant of this standing. A shame, especially since we ordered the daily special, ribs. Another slight issue was the service. We hadn't even decided what to eat after being seated for five minutes. The waiter's response was, "You'll have to order quickly because your table is reserved for 9 pm." It was a bit clumsy. In my opinion, they could have told us that towards the end of the meal if we were having trouble. Aside from that, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is good quality.
16/03/2026: In a very pleasant setting, we enjoyed a delicious fondue bourguignonne with our friends, as well as some excellent Savoyard escalopes. To finish, our chosen dessert... homemade crème brûlée, absolutely recommended. July 2023 with friends, also an extraordinary fresh salad...
