A superb experience! The new owners are fully committed to the success of the establishment, much to the chagrin of a few naysayers. I have no doubt whatsoever that they will bring a wonderful energy to this business. Special mention also goes to the quality and management of the snow at Flaine – simply incredible!

Passing through Flaine for three days, I had the opportunity to rent equipment from Black Side. A fantastic welcome with immediate availability and expert advice that allowed me to choose some great skis for a powder session. I was then able to test new skis each day to develop a real comparative feel (which isn't always easy). A big thumbs up to Lionel and France who also arranged for me to have boot fittings done by adjusting their schedule so I could address recurring pain. In addition to the ideal location, I highly recommend them for the quality of their advice and equipment. Thank you!

Nice concept. It's lovely to drink an enhanced hot chocolate after a day on the slopes, sitting in a cozy chair covered with a blanket. The prices are typical for a resort, but the size and taste were excellent. It's a must-try, I'll tell you about it.

Black Side, the shop that helped me realize so many snowboarding and skiing dreams since childhood, thank you Jean-Mi. Bastien is now the master craftsman/magician who bootfitted my latest hybrid ski boots. We went to this ski rental shop/café to enjoy the Liège waffles from the food truck. They were excellent. There is a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it! All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

31/03/2026: This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I reached out to Muriel earlier in the year looking for a place to have a big meal for 16 people for my 40th birthday. Muriel was incredible from the start and so helpful, sending options and updated menus. We had a couple of people with additional dietary requirements which Muriel catered to perfectly. The location is right in the center of the town so really easy to get to. Inside is lovely, very nicely decorated and very atmospheric. We had drinks on arrival and all 16 of us had truly expectational food which came out quickly and at the same time. Honestly I cannot recommend this place more. All the staff were so happy and friendly and made us feel so welcome. We are all still talking about it and how delicious the food was and how nice everyone was. It was the perfect end to a great holiday. Thank you Muriel and team, we hope to see you again :-)
