I enjoyed the winemaker's aperitif experience thanks to a Wonderbox gift certificate. I had a truly wonderful time with my family. We tasted three wines (one rosé and two Saint-Émilion reds) and enjoyed a generous appetizer platter. Explanations about the experience and the wines were provided in English and Spanish, as there were many tourists present. The team—comprising the driver, guide, winemaker, and bartender—was very attentive and helpful. You could choose to sit inside or outside. I highly recommend this experience.

After a somewhat complicated experience, I'm changing my opinion and my rating. Having many food allergies, I noticed some missing information on the menus, so my meal was modified. The staff at Bateaux Bordelais were very responsive and also very friendly. The menus were quickly corrected, and Bateaux Bordelais demonstrated their excellent customer service, hospitality, and ability to make me feel welcome. Thank you so much to the whole team! Corporate seminar with 40 people on the Sicambre, featuring a sunset cocktail reception and dance party; the result: a customer service representative who listened to our requests and was very responsive, a helpful and lovely crew, excellent catering, and a DJ who kept the party going until the very end!! Thank you so much, an experience that delighted everyone and a very successful corporate event!

25/06/2026: I was truly inspired by the warm atmosphere of Restaurant LouLou in Bordeaux! The welcoming and helpful staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The value for money is absolutely perfect.
23/06/2026: Now this place really surprised me. It was in the medium priced categories, but the food blew me away. I was not expecting that. The main courses were absolutely delicious ! If Michel could give a 1/2 star (i think they do have 'honourable mentions'), it would deserve it. .Presentations were wonderful, showing the passion the chef must have for this gastronomical establishment. Sauces were complex which always signals a master in the craft. sides were fresh and tasty. Portions were nicely sized. The staff were first class, always eager to please and were happy that we went twice during our week stay. I heard business was a bit slow, but its not for the quality.. It is a bit tucked away on a side street so it doesn't get the big crowds.
