Great food and service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Staff was also very accommodating and friendly with 2 young children and a toddler! We had just left the natural history museum nearby and this was perfect for lunch.

An impeccable welcome, top-notch service (thank you Émilie) and a selection of superb wines thanks to Pierre. Save the deviled eggs. You need a deviled egg dish! We will try the pavlova next time.

We recently had a lovely dinner with friends at this charming restaurant in the heart of Old Bordeaux. It was one of several restaurants recommended by our hotel and it was an excellent suggestion. The stylish decor, low lighting and atmosphere made it a lovely place to enjoy a night out. I started with the tuna carpaccio, garnished with watercress and radish. For the main meal, I had the beef tenderloin, green pepper sauce on the side, crystallized shallots and pomme dauphinee. Both were delicious. I’d be very happy to eat here again. NOTE: The restaurant is located opposite the Girondins Monument and Fountain so we finished off the evening by strolling over to it after dinner. It’s particularly beautiful at night when it’s illuminated.

The BEST meal of our recent 9 day trip to France. Mr. Martin was able to seat us without a reservation---so glad he did. The food was fantastic. Try the escargot and the duck. Worth a visit!!!!
