The tower was full of the most loved menu options and some daily specials too. The best eggplant I have ever had. Highly recommend if you want a different Parisian experience and will return in my next trip.

I love this restaurant, but this time I was very disappointed. The dishes were served lukewarm, and the fried rice was a bit dry. The sauce on the Black Pearls was watery, as if it had been diluted with water, and therefore tasteless, whereas it's usually creamy and flavorful—a real treat. The same went for the Kanako, whose filling was bland. It was nothing like my previous meals at Steam Bar. Perhaps there's been a change of chef? I'll hesitate to go back.

A very mixed experience at Steam Bar. The setting and service were impeccable, no complaints there. The real downside was the small and tasty portions of dim sum… there wasn't that much variety, the dim sum we ordered were overcooked, the rice arrived very late (well after the dim sum), and it was very expensive for the amount served (4 mini dumplings, maybe even 3 mini dumplings for €11-14…). The gyozas, on the other hand, were very good. It's a restaurant for the ambiance, not the food, as there are much better options in terms of quality/price ratio.

20/09/2025: A very good discovery. The raw fish is excellent, as are the skewers. The dishes are very good. The miso soup is very good. We appreciated the fast and friendly service. We were going to a show afterward, and it was perfect. The desserts are also very good. We tried the frozen mochi, there's even lychee, and the chocolate mi-cuit is excellent.

14/02/2026: The products are fresh, the maki and sushi are excellent, and the beef and cheese skewers are a pure delight. As for the service, the owners are lovely, always smiling and attentive.
11/02/2026: Great food for affordable price - would definitely recommend. Sashimi was lovely and great quality.
