Boccaccio sur Nice

All perfect!!! The only flaw is that the table is a little small for 7 people

The place is beautiful, the staff are kind and very attentive to customer needs, it is a restaurant that mainly serves excellent and fresh fish but there are also meat dishes. The language spoken is French obviously but they also speak English and Italian, so not bad. The price varies depending on what you choose but taking into account that we are in Nice on the French Riviera I found excellent prices, I took a first course with fish, lemon fettuccine with raw prawns, really excellent, the only flaw was there was too much oil , then a delicious mixed fried dish served with mayonnaise made by them and to conclude a gigantic crem brulè to share, 2 waters, 2 glasses of wine and a coffee for a total of 100 euros. In my opinion, for 2 people I don't find it excessive at all. I really recommend it.

We come here everytime when we are in Nice or Cannes. If we are in Cannes, we even drive extra with the limousine service to Nice just to dine here. The quality and presentation of food is just wonderful. The ambience is inviting, comfortable with a touch of elegance, but not intimidating. However, the service although very, very much friendly, courteous & accommodating, is sometimes lacking here and there a little bit, from time to time. For example, after a while, the waiter forgot to pour the wine from the bottle even though the wine glasses have been empty for quite a while. We even saw some guests from a few other tables got frustrated waiting, and even stood up and poured the wine/champagne for the whole table by themselves. As in our case, the waiter did apologise after seeing us pouring the wine from the bottle by ourselves. For us, it’s no big deal, but it’s something which should not have happened. Overall, it’s a very wonderful & superb place to enjoy seafood and we will always come by.

Excellent welcome at the Boccaccio restaurant. High quality Mediterranean cuisine. The paella is hearty and refined. I highly recommend.

Like every Easter week we have been going to this restaurant for dinner for several years. Always a pleasure, delicious raw food, very friendly staff.
