For a first time, it was incredible. The service was a true spectacle of efficiency, attentiveness, and extreme friendliness. The quality was exceptional, both in terms of taste and preparation. I can't wait to go back. Well done to the entire Bœuf & Cow team!

Hello. The setting is very nice. Ideally located, with a view of St. Peter's Square and the apse of the church of the same name. The decor has its charm. I wasn't disappointed with the dishes and sauces (they were perfect). Unfortunately, the room is very poorly soundproofed. The lack of privacy in the unisex restrooms means that women feel uncomfortable seeing men urinating. The staff present that evening were available and courteous.

We had dinner there as a couple and were kindly requested a table with a view of Saint-Pierre church, which was lovely. We had a wonderful time. The welcome was excellent, and the quality of the food was superb. The meat was truly delicious, cooked perfectly and very tender. I would have just appreciated a touch of fresh vegetables, like a crunchy seasonal vegetable with the fillet, even though the fries were delicious!

A chic bistro specializing in meat, with undeniable quality and homemade products. The meat is excellent, expertly prepared, and cooked to perfection. The menu is on the higher end of average to high, at €77 for a 770g platter for two, which is justified by the quality. However, we found the service a bit too rushed: we barely had time to start our aperitifs before our main course arrived. So, it's a very good place to eat well, but not really a romantic spot.

14/04/2026: For a starter, I had the house smoked salmon (a bit more smoke would have been preferred by yours truly but the overall dish was great), followed by the grilled Scallops. The scallops were fresh and quite flavorful. My dessert was a goblet of XO Calvados and I definitely chose well.
09/04/2026: I've been to many restaurants, but this one is truly delicious… we had a very pleasant time because the service was 5-star… we're not from Caen, but when we're in the area, we'll definitely be back… Well done to the whole team! 👍

02/05/2026: This is my second visit and every dish has been a delightful surprise! I highly recommend it to everyone, especially those who appreciate fine dining quality, attentive service, and all without the stuffy atmosphere one might expect from a fine dining establishment!
