I went to have an espresso, and didn't have cache and they would not accept card, and the waitress just let me have a coffee for free. Very sweet!

A lovely terrace with a view of the village of Cargèse. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. However, the bill was a real letdown, with a very unfriendly person taking our money without even looking at us! Please, Madam! It ruined the experience!

If you're passing through this little village, a stop at this bar is a must; it's a favorite among locals. If you're lucky, you might snag a small table on the balcony for an aperitif, with a magnificent view 😍 of the sea and the two churches. The atmosphere is magical, and the little snacks are just as delightful. And to top it all off, the service is simply perfect 🤩.

22/09/2026: Exceptional setting but very average food
20/09/2026: It was a bit disappointing: when a restaurant is selected by Gault & Millau, you are entitled to expect something. Beautiful location, but the food and service were somewhat underwhelming. The starters were very reasonable (Shrimp and Tempura, Tartare aux 3 Tomates & Burrata), but the main course (Pâtes aux gambas) was a real letdown. Not very refined, the shrimps were just not quite cooked enough, and the sauce was a bit strange. And that for the most expensive main course on the menu. And unfortunately, the service wasn't exactly something to get excited about either. A pity.
