Bouillet sur Lyon

When we want to treat ourselves to something sweet, this is *the* place for indulgence! The welcome is always pleasant and warm, the shop is small but the selection is very generous! The cakes are beautiful, all the chocolate products (for me, chocolate is life!), the custard tart (my partner's favorite), the macarons, the marshmallow bears, the chocolate treats at Easter, the Yule logs and mini Yule logs at Christmas... Thank you, Mr. Bouillet, please keep delighting us!

Bouillet pastry shop on Rue des Archers is simply one of the very best in Lyon. The cakes are very creative, and I particularly recommend the fabulous dark chocolate cake, "Le Louvre." The tarts are also excellent, as are the strawberry and raspberry cakes! The welcome is especially warm, and the manager goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome. 🤨One major issue, however, that needs to be addressed URGENTLY, as it's absolutely unworthy of the excellence of this establishment +++!: The bags for carrying pastries have VERY fragile handles that break suddenly... and the excellent cakes end up in a sorry state on the sidewalk (twice in my case)!!!😒 ...It's been a month since I reported the bag's extreme fragility... (two failures for me, a few weeks apart...): no response from customer service, which is completely inadequate! It's a shame: not very respectful at all... The excellent Bouillet pastry shop, served by particularly kind and very professional staff, deserves better than to be smashed on the sidewalk because a bag handle suddenly breaks!!! Conclusion: BRING YOUR OWN BAG!😉

Awesome small patisserie shop with great quality and superb people

It's absolutely excellent, their flan and tarts are incredible! The only downside is that it's a bit pricey.

Wow the macaroons here are really nice! Good range of flavours and not too sweet. Reasonable price as well.

Excellent Christmas logs, the staff are welcoming and offer good advice. It's a shame the shop is so small.

The dulcey/passion fruit tart in entremets format is a delight, with absolute complexity of taste and aesthetic refinement.
