Do not miss a chance to enjoy this delightful restaurant! It feels like they have invited you over to their house for dinner. They cooked our delicious chicken over an open fireplace hearth. The duck breast with the wild mushrooms and red wine sauce was incredible. I am a chevre chaud salad lover, and this one was amazing! Make reservations. C’est fantastique.

An excellent experience in an atypical setting

This was a great find. Highly recommend. The room itself has plenty of character. The owners are so friendly & nearly all the meals are cooked in the fire place over coals in front of you. Heaps of flavour, good quality produce, good servings and a great selection of wines. You must try this out for yourself when in Bordeaux! 5 🌟 🤩 ⭐️

A warm welcome in a unique atmosphere. It was excellent, excellent value for money, not to mention the more than generous quantities.

Having visited a lot of restaurants in Bordeaux, this one is really excellent, both in terms of meals and in terms of service. An atypical setting, honest and super caring owners. We were able to talk with them, a really great experience. We will come back with great pleasure What a treat... Thanks again !

Did you know that the Bakery is one of the oldest houses in Bordeaux? 44 years of service for the chef, well supported by his wife in serving and managing the embers... Because yes, here there is room for cooking in the fireplace! Real pleasure of seeing and smelling your meat grilling quietly behind you while tasting one of the very good wines on the menu (local wines, of course!). Traditional cuisine, with respect for the product and in a setting and an atmosphere that could not be more rare these days. No fuss, it might not be the most gourmet cuisine you'll ever eat, but there's no chance you'll be disappointed!
