A cozy, beautiful place with amazing service and incredible products. The shop assistant was so nice, spoke Spanish, and gave us excellent service. The products looked fantastic: cinnamon rolls, breads, croissants… We bought everything! I'm sure it tastes as good as it smells… 🤤 PS: They have some really cool and good quality tote bags 💫

Amazing veggie sandwich for lunch today 😋 I'd been wanting to try it for ages, but until now, the opening hours didn't work out. That's sorted now, and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious, and I indulged a little, but I'd already tried the olive roll = "to die for" 🤩 I highly recommend this bakery. I'll be back 🙂

It's a simple bakery with no frills, but with a scent that literally draws you in. The main reason to go there? The chocolatines. Yes, that's what they call pain au chocolat here in Bordeaux, and yes: they truly are the best in the city. Light, buttery pastry, crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, with that chocolate center that's never too much, never too little. It's the perfect balance that makes you say, "Okay, one isn't enough." The other desserts and baked goods are also excellent, and the bread is definitely worth trying if you're heading home or to a picnic along the river. It's the ideal place for a quick snack in the morning or afternoon, perhaps while exploring the neighborhood. Small, authentic, and unpretentious: the Boulangerie Saint-Michel is a stop that adds a slice of Bordeaux life to your trip. And, above all, a chocolate you won't forget.

We've been buying our bread and pastries from this bakery for over three years. It was time to write a review... after visiting all the bakeries in Bordeaux, this one is one of our favorites, and perhaps even the best. High-quality, delicious bread, low prices, and a warm atmosphere/impeccable service! Bravo, you deserve a gold medal!

Great homemade sandwich for lunch. But today's coconut rocks were dry and tasteless, too bad I couldn't eat them because they tasted like cardboard powder. I hope they'll be better next time!
