A nice cake 🍰 for a birthday...

The pastries are truly excellent; they're beautifully made, crispy, and light. The spelt bread is the best I've tasted in Boulogne, and the baguettes are too... their café au lait is incredibly good, and their cakes are flawless! Truly excellent work.

visited 7am in the morning, was expecting to buy something fresh and new before my flight. seemed like i bought something from yesterday it was cold. and the seller was not nice. not pleasent

I find some of the comments outrageous. I can't stand it anymore that in 2026 people are taking out their frustrations on honest, hardworking people! My honest and informed opinion, having been here a few times, most recently yesterday: - This bakery has a superb vanilla flan; I'm eating it right now. - Their Oranais pastry is fantastic, with a generous amount of pastry cream and a lovely shape. - The traditional pastries are very good (I read a terrible comment saying they were a disgrace, but not at all!). It seems to me that the baker is a gentleman and that he's been the new owner for perhaps a little less than two years. I want to tell him that he's doing a great job and that he should keep it up. At first, the service wasn't great from some of the saleswomen, which isn't untrue, but now I find all the staff very friendly and welcoming! So, 5/5 from me, please keep up the good work!
