Boulangerie Calou, France sur Caen

After having spent two weeks in Normandy I can confirm that this place was the best I found in terms of the tastiest and most well crafted Croissant and Pain au Chocolate. Pricing is very reasonable and the fact that they open fairly early is another plus. We also tried the various style baguettes too and enjoyed them also.

World class pain au choc. Delicate layers (20 total) with lots of technique. Could maybe add more chocolate but no complaints. Excellent !
