We had room 5, a double room with a balcony. The room was excellent, very comfy bed, and the balcony great. There is a very busy road junction outside the hotel, which is loud at times.

One of our favorite stops while traveling. FANTASTIC team! Lovely room. We loved the bar downstairs as well as the location We will come back any time we are in the area.

Nice hotel, nice service. Very sociable and friendly staff; to be honest, I think it’s the owner himself who greets guests at the reception. The hotel does not have a restaurant, only a bar. Only drinks can be purchased.

Wonderful place, wonderful people! Oh how I wish I was there now, enjoying a morning coffee and then an afternoon beer. Special "cheers" to Alexi and Rita. Then up to my very nice comfortable and clean room. 5 stars all around, and a hearty Hello from Pamela. Can hardly wait to return!

15/09/2024: We spent a month in Villefranche this summer and were frequent guests of the wine bar at the Welcome Hotel, although we did not stay at the hotel. There is no better place in Villefranche to stop by for a glass of wine or a cocktail before dinner or anytime with beautiful views of the harbor and the waterfront. Good wines were available by the glass or bottle and they serve a killer gin and tonic with Monkey 47 gin in a large bowl glass at a reasonable price. We can’t wait to get back there!
09/09/2024: Nice lil wine bar inside of a hotel. Staff were lovely and attentive, and was nice to look out onto the sea / harbour.
