La Mère Germaine more than deserves its reputation, both for its setting and the precision of its flavors. 🍽️ What we tasted: The starter: Lobster carpaccio with citrus bisque. A perfect balance: the lobster literally melts in your mouth, and the freshness of the citrus awakens the taste buds. A culinary revelation! The main course: The famous sole meunière with almonds. It's hard to get any fresher; it was caught that very morning. The cooking is mastered to perfection; it's a real "banger" for seafood lovers. The dessert: You can't leave without trying the legendary Grand Marnier soufflé. Light, generous, and flavorful... what more can be said, except that it's absolutely divine. The extra touch: The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is both chic and welcoming. A must-visit on the French Riviera if you want to treat yourself to exceptional products. 19/05/2026: The place is in a quiet part of town and somewhat feels like a different fishing village which gives it a relaxing vibe. The food was absolutely outstanding. The fish soup is definitely to try along with the grilled fish. Definitely to return

30/03/2026: The food, the service, the atmosphere and the view were all outstanding. We shared the crab and avocado appetizer, my partner had the scallops (they were sweeter than any we’ve ever had), and I had the Scorpion fish - I’m obsessed with that sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everyone had a wonderful time, the service was excellent, and everything was delicious. It was flawless in every way! Thank you to the entire team at La Chaumière for this unforgettable experience. My father won't soon forget his 60th birthday! 🥰 We can't wait to come back!

05/04/2026: My friend and I have eaten there several times; it's a very pleasant place, with a friendly atmosphere and waiters, and very reasonable prices, but it's advisable to arrive around 11 o'clock if you want to enjoy the direct view of the port and the boats.

18/03/2026: A real local hangout with such a fun atmosphere. Great deal on the food too. We bought tickets for a jazz concert and you could pay for a dinner buffet. Lovely experience.

12/04/2026: We’ve been here only for a drink and it wasn’t a nice experience. Firstly to place an order wasn’t nice, we felt unwelcome. The cocktails came separately with large differences apart; they forgot one order. By the time of the last cocktail we’ve finished ours so nice place and location but terrible service.
