I stopped by the Suchaud bakery and pastry shop today after seeing many positive reviews. It is a small shop which remains charming, but which offers a limited choice, whether in pastries or pastries. That said, it’s understandable for a bakery of this size. I tried a chicken sandwich with curry sauce, and it was honestly very good. The bread retained all its crispness, which is quite rare, because sandwiches often take on moisture, making the bread soft. Here, that was not the case, and that was really appreciated. A little small in size, but at a low price, so it's perfectly OK. Small downside regarding the labels: it would be good to pay attention to the clarity of the prices displayed. For example, the label said €2.90, but I paid €3.90. Maybe I didn't see the label correctly, but a better layout or more frequent updating would help. As for the pastries, they seemed a little overcooked to me during my visit. I wanted to have one, but they were overcooked, some even blackened. This may have been an isolated case, but it's something to keep an eye on. Finally, an important point to emphasize: there was clearly a shortage of employees. There was only one person managing around ten clients, and she was clearly overwhelmed. You could see that she was sweating and struggling to manage everything. This created a lack of communication with customers, and we can only understand this. Maybe a little extra help would make the experience smoother. I often come for snacks and pastries and it's a treat, especially the éclairs 😍, at always reasonable prices, and products that change depending on the day, with meat and potato pâtés on Thursdays, I 'love it!! The best bakery in Limoges in my opinion. Everything is really delicious. Special mention to the éclairs which remain the best I have had the opportunity to eat, I am already addicted (top 3: blueberry raspberry, violet, speculoos. The prices are very affordable and the lunch menus are really worth it, the fougas, slices of pizza etc. are very tasty. Obviously the pains aux chocolats and croissants are huge and so good. The service is always impeccable. I really recommend you go there 😋.

Still one of the only bakeries where you can find 100% homemade as well as their natural croissants 🥐 (extremely rare since the butter croissant) Their pastries are excellent with a taste of yesteryear. I particularly liked their chocolate cake, or the milk chocolate shortbread tart (a delight) or their real coffee éclair with a coffee taste👌 The bread? You will find all kinds, traditional to the ball which is offered to you sliced ​​of course. There is a snack side that I have not yet tasted but I remain convinced that like everything else, it will be a delight. The essential point for me remains the welcome: as delicious as what is offered, the sellers are pleasant from morning to evening. Smiling and giving good advice, you can count on their patience to guide your choice.
