The bakery is a visual experience and the delicacies on offer are simply a hit. It's not cheap, we provided us with sandwiches and sweet pastries for the day for 3 days. For 3 people, that's 80 euros in 3 days, but that's what you'd otherwise pay for a meal for three in a restaurant. I really regret that we can't continue shopping here. The prices are confident, but what has become very good. The ladies behind the counter are all very nice and mostly speak English. But communication also worked excellently with hands.

Large selection of breads. A very good bakery, also a choice of pastries. Praline mille-feuilles a treat and raspberry macaroon as beautiful as it is delicious

I consider it the best in Versailles. An excellent organic baguette. Excellent pastries with an ordinary croissant to die for... I recommend for gourmets who have a huge appetite, the hotdog with, for dessert, the coffee nun.

We were initially uncertain about buying from here as there were long lines and tour groups (we assumed it was super touristy). But we decided to get a few things- and I’m so glad he did. Best pastries and baked goods in Versailles!!! Not sure why this gem has a 4 star rating. Visit here if you are close. I got a courgette galette/flat bread, and a rhubarb crumble bar.

Visiting Versailles town center for the day and came across this lovely bakery. I saw the millefeuille and it was full of cream and lovely puff pastry layers for 4.5 euros. Bought a piece to try and it was the BEST millefeuille I have ever tasted! I LOVE it how it had so much cream between the pastry layers. Back home in Canada, we call this pastry "Napoleon" but here in France it is "millefeuille". We also bought a butter croissant vs a croissant made with margarine. The croissant was very good as well. One croissant and one millefeuille totaled 6 euros. We will return to Boulangerie Maison Guinon the next time we are in Versailles again!

23/03/2024: I don't know if heaven exists but I can say that it has a branch on earth at Gaulupeau because my God the cakes are good, an angelic delight. In the tea room, with its cozy atmosphere, we succumbed to 3 cakes, each more divine than the last, with the sweet names of “Purple”, “Success” and “Millefeuille praline”. All served by the young Eva, who takes great care of the customers and always with a smile. Well, we'll leave you, we'll rush across the street to go and confess (it's necessary) in the church across the street for having succumbed to sweet temptation.😉 After 3 Pater nosters and 2 Ave Marias, we will come back 😊 to find our holy sweet trinity. Well done to the pastry chefs.
12/03/2024: My daughter's birthday at home. Lunch cocktail delivered by Maison Gaulupeau. 2 discreet, efficient and very friendly butlers. Everything was perfect . A very nice party, everyone had a great time. Experience to be repeated! Well done
