Fantastic! The pastries were absolutely delicious, and the homemade coffee was the perfect accompaniment. Plus, the lady was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. It definitely makes me want to come back! ☕🥐

We stopped at this bakery after visiting the castle. The lady was very kind, the baguette with butter and ham was delicious, and the desserts were truly delicious. And the prices were truly fair. I highly recommend it.

I ordered the E9.50 menu with a ham, cheese and salad sandwich, a 500ml drink and a desert (an excellent almond croissant), and I could sit down inside. It's great value, far better than the restaurants nearby, and the cafe at the chateau itself: they all seem to charge about E25+ for burgers etc. I decided that everyone but this shop is trying to bleed the tourists - go here for a reasonably priced feed

A quick stop at the Maison des Pages in Chenonceau, a great discovery. We had a quiche Lorraine and a vegetable quiche, both truly delicious, well-filled, with crispy crust, which was a welcome treat after visiting the château. The craft beer served with it was also excellent, very cold and full of flavor. Everything is simple but very good, and you can taste the quality of the products. The welcome is super friendly, the lady at the counter smiles even when it's crowded. It's exactly the kind of place we like to find when traveling: good, local, no frills. We leave feeling satisfied and satisfied. Honestly, I recommend it without hesitation.
