The service was very good, but they made a mistake with the sandwiches when you asked for a specific flavor. It's a shame, especially since the display case wasn't well-stocked. It's also a shame you have to be quick to choose what you want.

Really delicious! Definitely the best bakery in the whole village. We went here several times throughout our entire holiday.

A warm and welcoming team, offering bread and delicious treats perfect for sharing. The biggest advantage, compared to other stores in the same chain, that makes shopping so pleasant? The music is quieter (or even absent), which doesn't hinder conversation when you want to eat in and/or hear the staff clearly.

The only downside to the ambiance is the toilet. It's just about usable for men, but... On to the good points: friendly staff, good selection, plenty of seating. The food and coffee are tasty, and the prices are reasonable.

A great way to start the day! We came here for breakfast every morning for four days and we weren't disappointed. The products are fresh, even if they are processed, and the staff was always welcoming. It became our little morning ritual during our stay. A fantastic team, thank you again!

20/09/2026: Honestly, when you see the prices on the menu, don't hesitate, order a generous portion and I'll gladly go back.

Le Chalet Au Bord du Lac

13/09/2026: A pleasant surprise. Ideally located on the lakefront with a beautiful view of Gérardmer. The rooms have been tastefully renovated. As for the food... it's fantastic, delicious, and plentiful—a real treat. Kudos to the chef! Highly recommended for a stay in Gérardmer at a reasonable price. Excellent!
17/08/2026: My husband had booked a garden-view room, but at my request, we were able to get a lake-view room at no extra cost! We arrived earlier than expected for check-in, and the staff kindly provided all the information we needed. This allowed us to access the private beach for a swim, which was a real treat in the heat. That evening, we had an excellent dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast the next morning was just as good. I was a little worried when I went to bed because the mattress was a bit soft, but in the end, we slept very well. The value for money is excellent, and we would recommend this hotel.
