We came for lunch. We were very satisfied. A view of the lake, very peaceful. Everything is homemade. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We will be back.

We enjoyed our first family holiday in Gérardmer, staying at the chalet by the lake, and I must say we were absolutely delighted with the warm welcome we received! All the staff were lovely, smiling, and helpful! The room was spotlessly clean every day after we returned from a beautiful sunny morning of skiing! And what a joy to have such a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony! To top it all off, the food served in the restaurant was delicious and of excellent quality, prepared with love, I'm sure of it. A huge thank you to everyone for this wonderful week of true vacation!

We just spent a week at the Chalet Hotel restaurant by the lake. We loved the setting with its beautiful view of the lake. Both lunch and dinner were varied, generous, and truly delicious. The hotel offers activities with its gym, games room, and library. We were welcomed by a team that was attentive, helpful, and accommodating. We thank Meline, Sarah, Steeve, Alexandrine, and the entire team for delighting us both with their culinary skills and their warm hospitality.

We spent five days there; the food was excellent, and the chef and his team delighted us with their creations. The room we had was perfectly suited for two adults and three children, including one with a travel cot. The staff were incredibly attentive.

An absolutely perfect stay at Chalet au Bord du Lac – Hotel Restaurant! The welcome from the manager and his entire team was exceptional: warm and friendly. You truly feel at home. The view of the lake is simply magnificent—waking up to this panorama is magical 😍 The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially loved the basement with its games (ping-pong table, pool table, darts) and library: brilliantly designed so parents can relax while the little ones have fun 👌 And what can I say about the restaurant… simply excellent! The cuisine was flavorful, original, and refined—and the vegetarian options were even better, truly delicious and creative (which is rare!). I wholeheartedly recommend this place. You leave with only one desire: to return very soon! 🌿✨

You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. The portions are substantial, which is truly appreciated, and everything is delicious from start to finish. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. A special thank you to the managers, who are remarkably kind, always available, and attentive to their guests. Their professionalism and good humor make all the difference. The hotel is comfortable and very well maintained, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this establishment, whether for a meal or a longer stay. We will definitely be back! Best terrace by the lake, the food and service lived up to our expectations, and what a pleasure it was to wake up and go outside to enjoy the sunrise over the pearl of the Vosges from our room... Not a single flaw, we had a magnificent weekend and we will gladly return... I highly recommend it!
