03/11/2025: What can I say?
Sometimes you have to separate the human element from the culinary aspect. That's why I didn't voice our dissatisfaction directly to the restaurant.
We were certainly well received by the staff. However, there was a bit of bad faith involved when the bill arrived. We didn't specify that we were ordering a set menu, but it seems logical: a starter, main course, and dessert constitute a set menu...
In culinary terms, I'd like to remind everyone (and any good cook should know this), a cocotte egg is an egg with a runny yolk, not a hard-boiled one. But here, the egg was hard-boiled.
The cod, which should be served boneless, was indeed boneless, and quite a lot so... and taste-wise, it was okay, maybe cooked in white wine it could work (I'm no chef :) ).
The veal, on the other hand, was a bit dry and fatty for a dish costing over €10.
And my apple tart must have come from Metro.
I expected much better, especially for a restaurant offering a €30.90 menu! €30.90 for this quality is really unacceptable.
I think that by listening to your customers you could significantly improve the quality of your food, because there's definitely potential.
23/10/2025: Fantastic! We were greeted with a friendly welcome. A cosy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. There is a wide selection of dishes and our food was exceptional. I will definitely recommend going here. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
