Boulangerie Marie Blachere sur Saint-Alban-Leysse

Pretty good products for an industrial bakery. One drawback: the country bread made with ancient grains is quite inconsistent. Sometimes it's beautiful and very good, sometimes it's overcooked or flat in places, evidence of poor kneading. The tarts and cakes are also of good quality.

Excellent, I recommend it. The brookie is amazing.

The best part is the toasted baguette slices for €1.50 (very, very good). For those who appreciate bread and baguettes, they are of good quality; however, the pastries are often too sweet, as are the viennoiseries. I was disappointed once with a cherry clafoutis because I love it, but the lack of fruit was really noticeable, and the batter wasn't great.

The young woman was very welcoming, smiling and kind. A really pleasant surprise compared to the one in Drumettaz near General Optique... a cold and curt welcome.

A Marié Blachère just the way we like them, always with cabbage, good lunchtime food, and very friendly staff.
