Boulangerie Marie Blachere sur Luisant

Very good. This is a chain store, which isn't the case for all of them. The one in Châteaudun doesn't even come close to this one. It has a long way to go. It must not be properly adhering to Marie Blachaire's principles. What a shame.

We came today to buy a loaf of country bread. While waiting in line, we noticed an employee cleaning the trays by spraying them very close to the pastries, directly onto the tray being cleaned. Of course, we're talking about hygiene, but also about a product that disperses into the air and onto the products sold to your customers. Please pay attention to this. We also wanted to buy some chocolate croissants at 50% off, but we changed our minds. This doesn't make us want to come back, even though we believe in the brand.

The food tastes good, and the portions are generous, no complaints there. Service: only 3 stars because if you don't go early, the food runs out quickly, and they don't offer to remake your sandwich like almost every other bakery would... This means lost revenue for the day and even for future lunches after 1 p.m. Atmosphere: a rather haughty, curt, and unfriendly waitress with glasses... It's a shame these last two points detract from the overall experience.

A fairly typical bakery for this chain. However, if the shop's self-proclaimed manager could have stopped shouting into her phone in the middle of the shop (we couldn't hear each other properly with the saleswoman behind the counter...), it would have been great. Customers shouldn't have to endure her discussion about her "management style" or the "delivery delays" of some supplier or other...

I go to this bakery regularly; the staff are friendly and professional. See you soon!
