A large boulangerie in the village of Avignon, this spacious establishment offers a huge counter offering bread, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. It also has indoor and outdoor tables, with reasonably large and well-maintained restrooms. Outside, tables are shaded by a large tree. The service at the counter is friendly and helpful, although sometimes hectic due to busy times. Very good value for money. The cleanliness and tidying of the tables inside and out could perhaps be improved.

The staff were welcoming and pleasant. In particular, a very kind and very cute waitress who was there on Thursday, August 12th, around 6:30 pm, wearing a t-shirt. Unfortunately, I didn't ask her name, but you can still congratulate her.

Very competitive prices for this chain bakery. A small indoor seating area attached to the shop for eating your order.

This Marie Blachère bakery is nestled in the heart of Avignon's charming little streets, offering a variety of products at affordable prices, as sweet as their other offerings. They also offer a 50% discount on yesterday's items, including pizzas, pain au chocolat, chouquettes, and more—you'll be surprised every day! Finally, there are small tables available, as well as well-maintained restrooms where you'll feel comfortable. The walls are made of old stone, giving the bakery a rustic feel. P.S.: A big thank you to the staff in the back who prepare the products despite the heat from the ovens and other kitchen equipment, and to the staff who serve customers at a sometimes hectic pace.

This summer in Avignon at Marie Blachere La Croix, for a quick dessert between the theatre festival's plays, try Nabilla's blueberry pie, to delight and refresh. Unmissable.

Hi, I go there very often for my coffee and croissant. And the saleswomen are very friendly. When I read the messages people have posted, I wonder if they realize how difficult it is to work those hours, and how difficult the customers can be. Anyway, I think they're all great.

As a local resident, I've been buying my baguette at this bakery for years! The staff is lovely, welcoming, cheerful, and always accommodating to my little "habits" 🙂 I'm surprised to read so many negative reviews. In my opinion, the team deserves far more positive feedback—especially since I always leave with a smile! Bonus points for: - the walnut bread, which is simply amazing - the warm, crusty baguette straight from the oven - the brownie slices, perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream once I get home - the infectious smiles of the saleswomen 😁

I highly recommend this welcoming, smiling bakery with good value for money; I had a chicken sandwich and it was delicious.
