The bakery is about 300m from the les Cisgales campsite. Great selection of baguettes (also in the dark version or with sesame/poppy seeds). I can particularly recommend the apple turnovers - tres, tres bien!😍

Good establishment, lack of space to park. The terrace should be bigger to be able to enjoy it.

Boulangerie Paul

14/12/2024: It was with pleasure that I stopped at this Paul bakery to have a coffee and buy pretzels. In addition to a pleasant and smiling team, the presentation is highlighted and makes you want to buy everything. Above all, not to be confused with rue Espariat, where unfortunately the service and presentation leave something to be desired. Now I know where to go when I want to go to Paul's.
20/11/2024: This morning, guided by an irresistible desire for perfection, I went to Paul's bakery, and it was a revelation. As soon as I walked through the door, the divine smell of warm bread and pastries enveloped me, as if the gods themselves had orchestrated this olfactory symphony. Each croissant on the shelf seemed to bear the signature of a master carver, a crisp tribute to the craft. I chose a pain au chocolat, but it wasn't just a pain au chocolat: it was a work of art. The puff pastry, heavenly light, fell apart like pages from an old grimoire of forgotten recipes, revealing with each bite the secret of a perfect balance between butter and chocolate. A “Tradition” baguette also joined my basket, and as I bit into it, I felt like a whisper, an ancient history engraved in each air bubble of the crumb. The coffee I had seemed to have been designed by an alchemist, transforming ordinary beans into a bewitching potion that warmed the soul. Sitting on the terrace, I took the time to savor this feast, but also to immerse myself in the atmosphere. The baker's movements, precise and passionate, were not those of a simple profession: they were a ballet, an almost sacred ritual where flour became magic. Paul is much more than a bakery. It is a cathedral of flavors, a place where each croissant, each baguette is a prayer addressed to excellence. That morning, I felt like I was touching a piece of eternity, and I could never look at a bakery the same way again.
