Boulangerie Thomann sur Les Lilas

So amazing! They we’re very welcoming and high-quality. I have the apricot tart and lemon cake with coffee, delicious! Come by if you’re in the neighborhood :)

The owners have changed, and the traditional sourdough baguette is stratospherically better than Thomann's. However, even though the quality has improved, the staff hasn't. Friendliness is nonexistent; you have to insist for a "hello," repeat for a "thank you" and "goodbye," and the best you get in return is a slight nod in your direction. And if you're wondering what the staff's private lives are like, you don't need to make an effort; just listen. All their attention is focused on their colleagues rather than the customers. So no, I'm not looking for friends when I go to my bakery, just good bread... and polite, friendly shopkeepers!

We regularly come to the bakery next to the post office in the mornings. Two espressos and croissants are always delicious. The morning waitress is wonderful, always smiling, and asks if we're doing well. The waiter is also very good. No problems at all. I highly recommend this bakery. Christel and Emeric Lorentz

A big thank you to Sisi, who is always in a good mood and serves us with care and a smile. It's thanks to her that I have breakfast there almost every morning. The croissants are fresh and the atmosphere is really friendly.

The bakery has changed its name (and is no longer Boulangerie Thomann). The traditions are good, the sandwiches are generous and inexpensive.
