04/08/2026: I've been a regular at this place since it opened and I'm always warmly welcomed. The food is excellent, I relax, meet up with friends, and we celebrate birthdays! It's a good thing it's here because what else is there in Les Lilas? Thank you to Bob and the team!

30/07/2026: I sometimes wonder why some people work in the restaurant industry if they can't provide good service. They're neither polite nor friendly. I love the food, but the quality of service leaves much to be desired every time I visit. That's the only reason I won't be going back. Each time, I feel like I'm not in a restaurant, but in someone's home where I'm not welcome.

09/07/2026: A historic café, Syringa is the predecessor of Le Lilas! A cozy atmosphere and hearty, traditional cuisine with a strong local flavor. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Place du Garde-Chasse, where the opening scene of Jean Cocteau's film Orpheus was filmed. Live music adds to the ambiance! Here, the jam session on July 7th with the Lilas jazz quartet.

08/08/2026: Disastrous experience, appalling service, and incorrect order. Order placed on 07/08/2026 at 02:29:28, order number 4019. Order placed at the takeout kiosk, served after more than 35 minutes, and completely incorrect. Order: 2 meals: 1 Maxi Best Off Big Tasty with large fries, a Coke Zero (no ice), and 1 additional McMuffin Bacon. And 1 McDeal meal with a fish sandwich, a Coke Cherry (no ice), a small fries, and a chocolate donut. And 2 additional cheeseburgers. The reality of the order: 1 large fries + 1 small potato (1st mistake) 1 Big Tasty + 1 muffin egg without bacon (2nd mistake) + 1 McFish... Missing 2 cheeseburgers (3rd mistake) No dessert (4th mistake) Drinks: The large one was fine, but the small one had a lid that wasn't properly closed and was badly placed in the holder, causing it to tip over... Sauce: 1 tomato ketchup (5th mistake) – what I ordered was fry sauce... Not to mention the wait of over 35 minutes... More than half the order was either incorrect or forgotten, and it was served already cold... The reception staff, who are supposed to be doing security, are more occupied with sitting on their phones than with their security duties... If the staff were respectful of customers and the establishment more attentive to its image and the quality of its service and products, this kind of incident would be less frequent. We feel robbed and insulted as consumers. Thank you McDonald's Porte des Lilas. Thank you McDonald's France.

30/06/2026: Great quiet terrace, very pleasant and attentive service. The pizzas in the evening are good.

20/06/2026: Around a good meal, that's the place to be at the Forum in Les Lilas! This year, the terrace has been adorned, following last year's first attempt by the renowned urban artist MOSKO, represented by Gérard Laux, with a new mural created at the initiative of the association Les Arts Fleurissent la Ville (Arts Bloom the City), an immersion in the freshness and colors of the city's urban jungle!

08/07/2026: I was there with my wife to see Magma, the oldest active French band, in concert. In this unique venue, it was magical. I highly recommend it.

02/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was unpleasant. There were three of us, and my brother simply asked if the meat was halal. The manager, visibly annoyed, condescendingly replied that it was a couscous restaurant, so "of course it was." An inappropriate response to a perfectly legitimate question. The most shocking part came when we asked for doggy bags. While serving myself, I had mixed the couscous with the vegetables and sauce. The manager immediately became angry and refused to let us leave with the couscous, explaining that once mixed with the sauce, it couldn't be reused. His comments clearly led us to believe that the couscous was routinely reused, which made us very uncomfortable and raised serious questions about the establishment's hygiene practices. Between the unpleasant welcome, the lack of respect for customers, and the very worrying impression regarding food handling, we will not be returning. Avoid at all costs.

02/08/2026: We had a disastrous experience at this restaurant. Beyond the frosty welcome and the staff's particularly condescending attitude, it was the hygiene that deeply concerned us. The manager made comments that clearly implied some leftovers might be reused for other customers. Even if it was perhaps a communication blunder, this kind of remark is completely unacceptable and seriously undermines the trust one can place in this establishment. Throughout the meal, every simple request was met with annoyance, disdain, or irony. We felt like we were constantly bothering them. A minimum of courtesy and respect for customers should be the foundation of this profession. Between the hygiene concerns and the staff's deplorable attitude, this experience was extremely disappointing. We will never set foot in this restaurant again and we strongly advise against it for anyone expecting professional service and impeccable hygiene standards.
