12/09/2024: Outstanding meal in this restaurant. We stumbled in one night when it was wet, cold and raining and although it wasn’t open the owner welcomed us in and made us feel right at home. We sat and had a Kir while we waited for the staff and restaurant to open. He was very helpful telling us about the area suggesting and going through the various selections on the menu. We settled on our starter and both opted for the Steak Tartare. I can’t tell you how amazing this meal was. We followed up with a coffee and Calvados and we were thoroughly satisfied. The food was outstanding! Simply amazing. Don’t be put off by the surroundings. It’s dated and I do feel the restaurant could be better presented but the staff are lovely and the food is spectacular.
