Superb dinner, top-notch service, magnificent and charming setting, excellent cuisine, nothing to complain about, flawless!!

We had a wonderful time at So, with refined and generous portions in a very picturesque and pleasant setting. Everything was truly excellent. The service was quick and very friendly. The zucchini velouté and the sea bream ceviche were fragrant and flavorful. The main courses—the filet mignon, lentil curry, and pollock—were well-seasoned and delicious, and the desserts were equally impressive: a true tiramisu with Marsala wine, a panna cotta with a touch of verbena, and a lavender cake that were subtle and flavorful, as was the chocolate marquise with its hint of passion fruit. A truly excellent restaurant.

An excellent restaurant featuring local produce cooked with finesse! The setting is particularly pleasant, and we enjoyed our table on the terrace against the wall, overlooking the street and the hills in the distance. The servers are friendly and offer very helpful advice.

Whether you're passing through Poët Laval or the surrounding area, I highly recommend making the detour to discover So's sophisticated cuisine: a subtle profusion of flavors in every bite, the dishes are refined, the fish is cooked to perfection, and the dessert is both simple and original. All the ingredients are fresh, sourced from small local producers (which we truly appreciate), and are beautifully showcased by Sophie, who runs the kitchen single-handedly 🤩. The service is impeccable, neither too fast nor too slow, and perfectly adapts to our pace: Thank you 😌. The waiter is very friendly, and we had some lovely conversations about local attractions and places to discover, especially since we're from Haute-Savoie. We ate on a small terrace in the shade of a fig tree.
