Excellent food, very generous portions. The service is very pleasant and friendly. We highly recommend it! The Munster cheese, vol-au-vent, and daily special (roast veal) were all excellent.

We had lunch at Au Canon and had a truly excellent experience. We chose three different meat dishes, and all were excellent, well-prepared, and very tasty.
We ate outside, so unfortunately we didn't get to see the interior, which from the photos looks truly beautiful and quaint. Despite this, we had a wonderful time.
The location is also a great plus: just cross the street and you're practically in the heart of Strasbourg, making it a convenient place for a lunch break while exploring the city.
Excellent cuisine, a strategic location, and an experience we definitely recommend.

In July, we sat on the terrace next to the planters. At first glance, it seemed like a nice spot, but we were soon bothered by the many flies attracted to our food. The toilets inside were clean. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to notice that we wanted to pay, so we went inside to settle the bill ourselves.

The owners' father is incredibly nice. We only sat down for a few beers, and between his kindness and seeing the dishes coming out of the kitchen, we simply had to eat there.
Thank you, boss, for being so kind and friendly, and congratulations on a delicious meal!
Definitely 100% recommended.

It was difficult to communicate with the waiters in English. However, the Flammekueche was delicious.
