In the resorts, many restaurants are closed in winter, which is a real shame for the locals. Chez Boisset is a Saintes institution; the food is excellent, and there's live music even out of season. I've always had a great time there, and the servers are very friendly and, above all, professional. This restaurant could easily cater to transient customers, but it doesn't. I highly recommend it.

Had lunch here when we randomly came through the town on a big horse festival. The town was vibrant and full of life. An unexpected detour for us as it wasn’t on our plan, I would recommend the restaurant as a place to eat, everything was perfect and even though they were busy, service was timely and friendly.

The new owners are friendly and attentive. They've surrounded themselves with a dynamic and charming team that's settling in. The dishes, desserts, and more are now excellent, all hosted by the best gypsy band, Alma de Fuego. Everything is in place for a great time. Thank you all.
