A unique experience. Olivier and his team are wonderful. There is a golden thread that unites them all. There is this charm of simplicity and high standing that seduces you from the first minutes in this atypical and charming place. The restaurant's offbeat floor lamps, designed by Carlos, are quite simply an ode to discovery and open-mindedness. From their illumination they invite us to let ourselves be carried away by the flavors of the dishes. The moldings and coffered ceilings transport us to another time where modernity knocks at the door with discretion but sincerity. The wine, the dishes, the desserts delight us with their flavors. I am excited and share these feelings with you. Olivier is a very beautiful person and from his son Alexandre is born the assured succession of great hotel managers. As we say in our country “they love people” and you can feel it. I will come back. See you soon friends ❤️

We were very pleased at the accommodations at this hotel. The room was nice, the food was exceptional (certainly for a hotel -- the locals seemed to come for meals) and the service. Nothing to say negative except that the duvet was very warm and perhaps a lighter blanket should be provided. Also, some of the decor was quirky, which was fun!

The rooms are very nice, the location is great, and the staff are above and beyond wonderful!
The airline lost my luggage after a direct flight to Paris. I had driven to Reims and was only to be there 2 days. It took 5 days for me to get my luggage so I had to extend my stay at the Continental 2 extra days. The staff were so kind and everyone felt such sympathy for my situation. The bartenders comped me some drinks and on the last night surprised me by comping my entire dinner, knowing I had still not received my luggage after 4 days at that point. The hotel staff were all vested in whether my bag would arrive and really made me feel so supported in the whole ordeal. They even also only charged me 1/2 on one of my extra unintended day extensions. The kindness of the hotel and restaurant staff is something I will never forget! Between the rooms, location and kindness of the staff, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope I do get the chance to return someday.

Let's start with the good: the location is excellent. Lots of restaurants near by, short distance to the cathedral, Porte de Mars, railways station etc. For dog owners (and others too) the parc is just across the street. For those coming by car, the location can be problematic: there is a very conveniently located public underground car park, which is also reasonably priced, BUT during busy times it may be full.
The rooms are small. We had a collection room which is supposed to be 25 sqm, but (without measuring) I'm willing to bet it is not. And, there was a useless foyer taking up some of those sqms as well, so the actual room felt pretty small. I wonder how we (two adults + two dogs) would have fitted in a smaller room (the less pricy categories are advertised at 15 and 20 sqm). There is air conditioning, but we were unable to get the room cool enough without opening the window (which brings a lot of noice during the weekend evenings/nights). The television system is strange: there is lots to view (although apparently only in French), but everything is streaming services, not channels to flick through and stop if you see something of interest.
The breakfast selection and quality is at par with the hotel's 4-star rating. However, there is a big problem: if the hotel is full and people come to breakfast more or less at the same time, nothing works. The breakfast room does not have seating for everybody, the staff doesn't have time to clear the tables or replenish the buffet, so customers wait for a seat, they wait for their coffee (which is served at the table), they wait for their eggs made to order, they wait for everything in the buffet to be replenished etc.
The quality of the dinner was not really 4-star. The food was ok, but just. In the nearby restaurant there is better quality for the same price. The portions were huge, though.
The final positive: no extra charge for dogs.

The food was extremely good, although pricey. Our strong advice would be to check the bill very carefully.
We were charged €199, for a bottle that cost €39, and even the second bill, contained an error in the restaurants favour. With very little apology.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, les plats étaient excellents.
Le service n'est pas oppressant, vous avez le temps de savourer vos plats. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable.
