Excellent experience, passing through Calais for one night.
Right in the city center, next to our hotel. The service was very friendly, accommodating, and empathetic with our young children. Excellent fresh seafood, reasonably priced.

When we booked, the establishment should have warned us about the air conditioning problem: we would have sat on the terrace, not inside. As a result, we had to forgo dessert and coffee, which we enjoyed on the seafront.

We ate at Brasserie de la Mer twice and it was a delightful discovery. The mussels are generously portioned and delicious, with a wide selection of sauces. The seafood is also fantastic! The staff is absolutely lovely, a special mention as I travel with my 10-year-old son who has a cognitive disability and an oral language disorder, and the team was incredibly welcoming and attentive, even allowing me to bring his own meal.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Calais! The dishes were beautifully presented and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It had been a long time since I'd had such a delicious meal at a restaurant 😋. The portions were generous and plentiful. The service was quick, efficient, and very pleasant. A fantastic find, we'll definitely be back! 👏🍽️ 55 euros for 2 courses of mussels, Ricard, Periers, iced tea, and peach kir + coffee
