Brasserie de la Mer sur Dives-Sur-Mer

We came at lunchtime as a group of eight, but unfortunately there were no tables available. So we booked for the same evening, and we weren't disappointed. The fries, mussels, and scallops were fantastic and I highly recommend them. The service was excellent; a waitress gave us a warm welcome and we had a good laugh with her. She was very kind, as was the owner, who came to ask for our feedback himself. We will definitely be back.

Don't be fooled by appearances; you have to go inside because behind the door you'll find friendly, attentive, and efficient people. Delicious and generous portions, a great atmosphere—what more could you ask for? We'll be back.

Friendly atmosphere. A small, simple brasserie that's quick and efficient. Homemade food is used, and local products are featured.

We had a very pleasant meal at Brasserie de La Mer in Dives, a small, family-run brasserie. The owners are very friendly and attentive to customer requests. My husband asked if it was possible to make a "Calvados coffee" 😅. And the owner was able to make one for him (a first!), and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the children and the parents loved it. Excellent value for money! We highly recommend it!

The food is just like home cooking, I don't want to give a bad review. But you have to choose your dishes carefully; it's not a restaurant. You should try it, you'll be warmly welcomed, and the starter buffet is quite nice.

The welcome here is excellent. There's a lunch special for €23: a buffet of starters, several main courses, and a dessert of your choice. The buffet includes classic dishes and some lovely homemade creations (fish and meat terrines). In short, the food is good and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Thank you, I had a great time.
