Honestly, it could be even better! When you're waiting for the lodge to open and you find out it's booked and only open three nights a week, they could do it on weekday evenings. Especially during the holiday season. And the prices are a bit high for the quality; they need to be reviewed. But otherwise, overall it's good.

We waited 10 to 15 minutes for a table.
Another 15 to 20 minutes for our aperitif, which didn't include peanuts (some others did).
We simply said, "We have an appointment; would it be possible to be served quickly?" The response: "Everyone's in a hurry here; it'll be when it's ready..."
We ate without bread or a carafe of water.
When clearing the table, I asked for a coffee, which was ignored.
We won't be returning to this place.

Passing through Pontarlier on a Sunday at lunchtime. Warm atmosphere, impeccable bar and restaurant service with great friendliness even though the place was almost full. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the portions were generous (a classic local dish, steak maître d'hôtel, and crêpes for dessert). For us, it's a very good place and excellent value for money. Thank you to the team.

The welcome, service, and setting were all lovely. We wanted to eat local food, so we opted for the fondue, accompanied by a charcuterie platter. It was one of the best fondues I've ever had. I'd definitely go back and recommend it!
