The meal was very good and the waiter very pleasant, but when it came time to pay (Bruno) he made me feel very uncomfortable because my payment didn't go through the first time. So I left with a bad impression, even though everything else was perfect. A shame.

I used to go there for years when I lived in Cherbourg, and I think the quality has gone down. The fries aren't as good as they used to be. The desserts are disappointing too. It's still a nice place, though.

This brasserie, ideally located on the port of St. Vaast, is always very busy. Reservations are highly recommended.
There's a huge menu, so don't expect haute cuisine. Opt for something simpler (the mussels and fries are perfect, the scallops disappointing).
The servers are quick and plentiful.

A small, convenient, and friendly restaurant, ideal for a midday lunch break. The food is good, simple, and satisfying, even if it's not exactly gourmet or haute cuisine.
Its biggest strength is the speed of service: perfect when you're short on time. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable and competitive for the city center. A great everyday spot for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal!

The real deal.
Quality meat, excellent fries that rival those from the North and Belgium.
Moderate prices.
Plus, they serve Anosteke beer, which is rare (one of the best beers in the world). The staff is very friendly.
