The food was solid, with some truly creative flavor combos — like a gazpacho served as dessert and a vegetarian poké bowl beautifully plated on a dish instead of in a bowl. Check the cleanliness of the cutlery and glasses. Eating outside is nice, especially when the weather is nice, but be careful of the surrounding vegetation that falls on the white tablecloth and the leaves on the ground that could have been swept away. Bad experience with the foie gras, which was way too hot. Not much attention was paid to us when it came time to pay. Not a single word. We got the impression: pay and leave the place.

This fine brasserie and restaurant is located at the entrance to Place Drouet Erlon. The parking garage entrance is right outside. A few steps up and you'll see a beautiful, leafy summer terrace. You'll receive a warm welcome and be shown to your table. Reservations are absolutely necessary. The staff is friendly and polite. The menu, with two daily specials, is extensive. Seafood, fish, and meat, and salads. The food is carefully prepared, with delicately balanced and delicious sauces. The champagne selection is reasonably priced. Enjoy your meal. Bon Appetito

26/09/2024: I found it while passing by, so I came in as soon as it opened without a reservation, and it was so delicious! The server of the man who is good at English was so kind, and the seafood was so fresh that it was delicious!! It's so delicious ㅜㅜ텐데 I'd like to eat more if I had more time. That's too bad
27/08/2024: This was the second time we visited Le Bocal (first time was in 2022) This time I even planned our route via Reims so we could eat here. The service is always superb, reservation is easily made. The waiters all speak english, so your order will be taken correctly! You can even make up your own platter with the waiter. He or she will give certain suggestions and you just have choose! Service always comes with a smile, and the food is just amazing!

17/08/2024: Very cozy terrace. The staff was busy, but they remained friendly. Tasty fresh food. We were lucky that we had made a reservation. Clean toilet.
13/08/2024: We sat outside, which was okay, but the traffic passing by was a little annoying at times. The waiter was super helpful and friendly, made good suggestions, but had to run the entire place by himself. Main course wasn't brought out until some time after starters were done, so probably wasn't ordered until that time, which we much appreciated. Food and wine were good.
