Brasserie Georges B sur Le Havre

Passing through this city, we were drawn in by the storefront. A warm welcome, immediate seating, professional service, and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I came for New Year's Eve on December 31st with a reservation. I received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, and I ate very well; everything was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect, and the music was great.

For the past few years, we've become accustomed to the quality of this establishment, and ending 2025 at Georges B with friends was no mistake. Although it's called a "Brasserie," it's truly a high-quality restaurant that, on New Year's Eve 2025, pulled out all the stops. From the homemade amuse-bouches (there's no doubt about that) to the impeccably presented dishes (a welcome change from the city of Le Havre, where presentation is practically nonexistent, but that's another story...). The hot dishes were served on hot plates, with a truly impeccable presentation. The tables were beautifully set WITH tablecloths; on that note, have you noticed that most establishments, even Michelin-starred ones, now only use bare tables? Cooking is an art where visual appeal and a warm welcome are just as important as the dish itself. It would be good if this concept remained in the minds of some... The staff, always the same, were once again up to the task, with their customary smiles and friendliness, which here are not optional, and a genuine sense of kindness and, why not say it, friendship. The prices for New Year's Eve were very reasonable and didn't skyrocket like at some other establishments. If, in addition, you have friendly owners who support a close-knit team, with skilled cooks, servers, and dishwashers—in short, everything necessary to ensure the long-term success of a business—then you have a recipe for success. You don't need extensive management training to understand that. In short! As you can see, I can confirm that GEORGES B truly deserves the 5 stars I've awarded it.
