A successful transformation at La Cathédrale! The new Parisian-style broth is a delight for the taste buds. The place retains all its charm, ideal for a business lunch or a romantic dinner, well laid out, clean, and tidy. Soissons' must-visit restaurant is getting a makeover in 2026. While we wait for warmer weather to enjoy the terrace.

A short stay in the capital of the Frankish kingdom under Clovis for administrative reasons at the courthouse, with a schedule that ultimately forced us to have lunch in Soissons. We found this restaurant near the cathedral, which had transformed into a veritable soup kitchen, with a wide selection of affordable dishes such as egg mayonnaise, fish and chips, Flemish carbonnade, crème brûlée... but 😣 no cassoulet with Soissons beans. Generous portions, enough for lunch, excellent value for money. The only slight downside: my fish and chips and homemade fries were mistakenly served to another table, so I had to wait a bit, but the accompanying sauce was absolutely divine. Clearly, the place is well-known, as it filled up very quickly by 12:30 pm. A very enjoyable lunch, despite the damp winter weather!

True brasserie tradition. Superb setting, very pleasant staff, good value menu. Centrally located, easy parking right behind the cathedral. Soissons is a very beautiful city...

First time in Soissons. We arrived at 1:30 pm. We received a very warm welcome with smiles. We ate very well and had the opportunity to chat with the chef. Keep up the good work, it was truly excellent and delicious.

Always very good quality and the welcome from François, the owner, makes you feel right at home.

Nothing to say, flawless!!! A wonderful welcome, the staff is very friendly! Delicious starters, main courses, and desserts! We recommend it and will definitely be back!
