Restaurant I have been to quite often. But there, the affligem triples in 50 cl at 14€!!!! Where are we going? Totally unjustified.
Then, the tartare.... It has always been excellent but on my last visit, it had a pink color as if the beef was mixed with something else and what's more, it was completely tasteless. Sorry for these comments, but I can no longer find my way when I come to you.

We took the menu for 39.90 with alcohol and coffee included. Perfect egg. Back of sea bass with vegetables and baba rum dessert. Excellent value for money.

Four of us had lunch on a Saturday lunchtime, and the experience was perfect! A warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and high quality dishes, as delicious as they are well presented. I highly recommend this restaurant and will happily return!

Par hasard nous arrivons à 13h10 dans ce restaurant et les autres a dresses étaient surbookées . Tant mieux car pour bien manger avec rapidité dans un cadre agréable et bien venez ici. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil mais aussi l'acoustique des lieux (déjeuner à l'étage) et la. Ue sur la cathédrale ne gâche rien ! Une brasserie un chouia plus cher qu'ailleurs c'est le seul bémol

Very good meal for our daughter's birthday. The restaurant is at the foot of the cathedral as its name suggests.
The atmosphere and decoration are very nice.
The meals are very good and tasty.
Downside for the children's carbonaras served in small quantities.
And second downside for the extremely long waiting time.
And one last little thing: we don't take out the vacuum cleaner when customers are still in the restaurant because it sends a not very positive message. Especially since we waited a long time between the starter and the main course and we had to ask to order a dessert

Thank you very much for the lovely time at your restaurant. We were treated very courteously and felt very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and we praise the hospitality. It doesn't get any better.

We had crepes and salad, which were good. The big rave for this place is a) the view out the window of Soissons Cathedral. Having lunch with this view, right next to the looming cathedral was quite special. b) the friendliness of the staff and management. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, and we both spoke each others' languages with a lot of smiles. She was great. Then, the owner came out and talked to us, and he was ever so friendly to a couple of tourists. The friendly atmosphere, the kind staff, the views: all these make La Cathedrale an excellent dining choice is Soissons!
