⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars, richly deserved! There are waiters… and then there’s Sébastien. On this magnificent sunny day, the terrace of Café Benjamin on Rue de Rivoli resembled a French Open final more than a peaceful Parisian brasserie: customers everywhere, orders flying from every table, glasses clinking, coffees flying… and yet, amidst this joyful commotion, Sébastien kept smiling. Impeccable service, flawless professionalism, efficiency worthy of a conductor, and above all, that natural elegance that makes you want to return. You feel expected, listened to, and served with genuine kindness, which is becoming almost a luxury in Paris. A huge congratulations to Sébastien: he proves that a crowded terrace is never an excuse to forget the meaning of service. On the contrary, he transforms the crowd into good cheer. Café Benjamin, hold on to this waiter… he’s an excellent reason to come back to Rue de Rivoli!… Oh, I almost forgot… Say hi to Nicolas for me! 😉

I left my glasses on the terrace last night (the frames cost €400, it's important to mention that), but they were found and put aside by the staff. Thank you for this honesty, which is becoming rare. Impeccable service, special mention to Lassana (if I'm not mistaken about the name), who was truly attentive. Given the quality of the welcome, the current rating seems unfair, hence this review. Thank you again!

Ideally located, this café benefits from the influx of tourists who wander the boulevards. But what a disappointment the food is! A croque monsieur on a square loaf is so disappointing when there are so many other good breads available, and the same goes for the cheese and ham. I won't even bother with the salad. Fortunately, the service is pleasant. The cuisine deserves a complete overhaul to do justice to French gastronomy.

A perfectly satisfying experience in every way. We were a party of three adults and two children, and received a warm and very pleasant welcome from both our server and the reception staff. The decor was lovely, and the place was clean. We ordered omelets, salads, chicken, hot dogs, pasta, ice cream, and syrup drinks for the girls—everything was excellent. The prices were very reasonable. It was wonderful to be so well received as a family!
