We were all exhausted and sweaty after arriving from Nîmes, where we had spent a memorable night. So exhausted, we arrived at Georges' for the first time and were served immediately. There were only four tables and the service was exceptional: attentive and friendly. We ate snails, pepper steak, and rac de porc, and everything was divine. We definitely need to come back less exhausted and with the usual restaurant atmosphere. We were all sweaty and exhausted after arriving from Nîmes, where we had spent a memorable night. We were all a bit wild and sweaty, having just arrived from Nîmes after a crazy night out. We arrived at Georges in that wrecked state, yet we were served immediately; there were only four tables, and the service was unmatched—attentive and friendly. We had escargots, pepper steak, and pork—everything was divine. We definitely need to come back when we aren't so wrecked and can experience the restaurant's usual lively atmosphere.

Never disappointed. Top-notch quality, quantity, and service! I can't wait to go back ❤️ Last visit yesterday and... a slight disappointment: the barrel organ for birthdays is now reserved for Baked Alaska. So when you want to throw a surprise birthday party, it's difficult to get your guests to order that dessert 😢

A true Lyon classic... complete with its charming birthday music and brasserie atmosphere. A huge thank you to the waiter who was exceptional! The photo shows the andouillette sausage with mashed potatoes – a real treat! Thank you!

Well, what can you say about this amazing place that probably hasn't already been said. What an experience.....the wait staff are unbelievable, the food is great, wine choice excellent, atmosphere so incredible and everyone is happy! Would recommend this wonderful brasserie to anyone visiting Lyon. And you don't have to book 😋

My wolfhound finds the same atmosphere, decor, and service as in a classic brasserie! Recommendations: ravioli, sauerkraut, calf's head with ravigote sauce, iced mussels, and Georges beer, of course. You can eat there any time between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. on weekdays and later on weekends.

It's always a magical and incredible moment! However, even after telling the waiter three times that it was my grandparents' birthday, he refused to light candles, even with an extra charge for dessert. To top it all off, in the heat, we ordered a bottle of St. Pellegrino, but it arrived at room temperature. So we didn't get to drink anything. We asked for another one, and he said it would be the same since they weren't chilled.

Managed to get reservations on our second visit to Lyon. What a place! Oozing class and character, the food and service was par excellence. Thank you, Samir!
