A very warm welcome! Thank you, Daniel! A true master oyster shucker (not a single piece of shell left behind)! BRAVO and THANK YOU, Bruno! Delicious oysters, as well as sea urchins depending on the catch (I was very lucky to be able to taste some today 😋). Everything is excellent and generous (cod loin with beurre blanc sauce). Thank you to the whole team for your kindness! I can't wait to go back!

Born in Nice, I finally discovered this century-old brasserie last night with a friend… and what a delightful surprise! We had a truly excellent meal: generous portions, and for oyster lovers, this is the place to be. The service was also top-notch: warm, professional, and attentive staff from beginning to end. The atmosphere is very much influenced by the restaurant's loyal and long-standing clientele, with many older regulars. It's a bit of a shame that more young people from Nice don't frequent this restaurant.

Fantastic place! As a local from Nice, this is my first time dining at Gambetta. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the staff! The oysters are delicious and the pasta Léon is the best! Kudos to Elisa, who is always smiling, attentive, and professional. I'll be back! For those of you from Nice who haven't tried it yet, go without hesitation! 😊

A typical brasserie by the market. Good fish and meat. Fresh oysters and seafood. Good prices. Large portions. Suggestion is always a good tip. Not fancy, but very good. Friendly staff. Right next to the Liberation tram stop. Still a consistently good place.

Very warm welcome, delicious oysters, but I hope there was a mistake regarding the price of the mussels, described as "Spanish" and very large, which were actually very small: 8.90 euros for six, 1.50 euros each. It's the first time in my life I've paid so much for mussels.

Such a nice old school French brasserie. We had a nice seafood platter and then some frogs. Everything was amazing, including service and atmosphere. I really recommend it.

17/02/2026: A caterer well worth the trip! A wide selection of very high-quality products, with special mention for the Niçoise beef stew and, of course, the polenta. Excellent service and a warm welcome. A truly wonderful find! Easy access by tram. Bravo!
04/12/2025: Amazing!!! Since the new young owners took over a year ago... well, it's become incredibly good! The ingredients are carefully selected, the quality is there, and EVERYTHING is homemade! Which is very, very rare these days! The prices are reasonable! It's truly good, authentic food, for which they get up very early to peel and chop, and the vegetables come straight from the local market! And the best part, if you needed any more... the cleanliness is impeccable! They are courageous, kind, and hardworking... yes, I really like them. Thank you so much, young people!
