It's difficult to find a place for lunch on a Sunday in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. Le Globe is there, with its welcoming team. The food is plentiful and delicious. A pleasant stop if you enjoy traditional cuisine.

Group meal for a farewell party. We weren't able to enjoy the group time we'd hoped for because the table layout didn't allow it, but the chef did a great job with a fresh and delicious meal.
The music was very good but a little too loud to hear each other talk.
Nice place for an afternoon drink near the Aveyron River 🙂

We ate well, but three things shocked me, bordering on disgusting! When you see one of the cooks repeatedly touching his nose, then running his hands through his hair and resuming plating, it's frankly unappetizing! (A hairnet would be cleaner, and a paper towel to wipe his nose.) Furthermore, in our bread basket, there was a shredded piece of bread, probably from the previous customer. 😳 Not normal. Please pass this message on to the staff.

We stopped by chance and were still able to get a table near the river. For our meal, we just had an aperitif, a salad, and dessert. The salads were generous, even for my partner who has a good appetite, and they were tasty and made with quality ingredients. Given the crowds, the terrace was a bit noisy, but it's not exactly an intimate restaurant. The prices are reasonable.

I was happy to find this restaurant was open for dinner on a Monday night. We all enjoyed our meals and the house made fries were great. Dessert was good as well. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere.

Went here for lunch, which ended up being the set menu. It tasted very good, and the young waitress spoke very good English (which is exceptional in this region). The service was also very good (from the others as well).
The price is also very reasonable.

Excellent service, the staff is great. Every time I go there I eat well, I have no complaints, I'm well served, proof of which is that the terraces are always full.

I have nothing but good things to say about Le Globe. Beautiful location, excellent service, and a lovely setting near the Aveyron River and the bridge.
I want to thank the staff again for their kindness; we had inadvertently left our important belongings behind, and they really went above and beyond to get them back.
I highly recommend it.
And thank you again so much for everything!
