Brasserie Le Jean Lamour sur Nancy

I don't go to this café as often as I used to. Each time I visit, I find the wait quite long, whether it's winter or summer, which makes the experience less enjoyable. I also feel that the quality of service has declined over the years. It's a shame, especially for such a well-located establishment, right in the heart of Nancy's iconic square. I hope these issues will improve, because the setting remains very pleasant.

We had a wonderful evening! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service truly made all the difference. We were greeted with a smile, and throughout the meal the service was impeccable: attentive, professional, and very pleasant. A huge thank you to Alexis for his kindness and professionalism; it's thanks to people like him that we want to come back. See you very soon!

Excellent restaurant on Place Stanislas, the waitress and waiter were very pleasant. Delicious menu. Today we chose the Val d'Ajol andouille sausage and the pollack (fish of the day). I highly recommend it! And let's not forget dessert: a lovely lemon meringue tart and a mirabelle plum. We come here every time we're in Nancy.

For a central restaurant that is literally in the square,.Jean Lamour is pretty good! Lots of options, good service with staff who actually speak English! Staff were super nice & took good care of us. Service is slower than US but that seems cultural? People aren't paid crap to perform like monkeys on minimum wages here & they don't work for tips. They are all working so hard. People are so much nicer than in Paris haha. We got three cocktails and they were all so delicious. One of us got the quiche...was classic..very good. We got a greek salad and salmon with veggies. Also got a gazpacho with some tepanade on toast + bread for the table. Pretty much exactly what we asked for. It wasn't rich & covered in buttery sauces which I really appreciated. Not everything is meant to have cream sauce! We came to see the light show and this was just the perfect pre show dinner we needed! Thanks Jean Lamour.

We came for lunch and received very quick and friendly service. The staff were very helpful and smiling. I asked for my salad to be modified to my liking (a request that was carried out without hesitation and with pleasure). The salads were delicious and the desserts were wonderfully good.

First time in Nancy. Good beer, comfortable seating and a warm welcome. Quick and pleasant service.

A brasserie worthy of the name! The ingredients were fresh and the cuisine was perfectly executed; thank you to the entire restaurant team. If you live in the area or are just passing through, go without hesitation. I can't wait to return!
