A wonderful spot for lunch… but also simply for enjoying a drink on the terrace!
Café de l’Échiquier has everything we love about a good brasserie: a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, a menu varied enough to please everyone, and daily specials that keep things fresh.
The terrace is also very pleasant when the weather is nice and makes you want to linger, even outside of mealtimes.
A friendly place where you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and simply want to come back.

An excellent place that we particularly appreciate. We always receive a very warm welcome from a friendly, helpful, and attentive team. The food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, with a special mention for the bartender's incomparable Spritz!
This establishment is a sure bet for a great time!

We return to Café de l’Échiquier very regularly and it’s always a pleasure.
The welcome is truly warm, the staff is attentive, and you immediately feel at ease.
As for the food, the menu is varied and, above all, there are always new offerings with the daily specials, which change regularly.
And as soon as the sun is shining, the superb terrace is a real bonus, just as pleasant for lunch as for simply enjoying a drink outside of mealtimes.
A place we really appreciate and recommend without hesitation.

It's rare to find such a friendly brasserie with such cheerful and highly professional staff. The setting is very pleasant and relaxing. Moreover, the food is excellent, and there are always pleasant surprises on the daily menu! We've been customers for about ten years and have never been disappointed. A place we highly recommend!

The food was adequate, nothing special. We weren't offered water, and the bread arrived almost at the end of the meal. The older waiter wasn't very polite to the younger one who had made a mistake with the table.

A warm welcome and impeccable cuisine. I've been a regular at this establishment for four years, having previously worked as a waiter. If I return with my wife, it's because we've always been so well received. I've worked with professionals, and hospitality is paramount, which is exactly what I found at this establishment.
