Bistrot du Palais

17/07/2026: Very good sorbets. The way Bistrot du Palais operates has become incomprehensible, as it keeps its old main entrance closed, forcing customers to take a long detour inside to reach tables facing Rue Favre. This company, which also manages Café de l'Horloge and O'Cardinal, seems to be focusing solely on a decent decor and location. Since the manager is almost never there, and avoids customers when she is, patrons only deal with servers who take no responsibility and, with a few exceptions, don't stay long.
11/07/2026: This bistro, located opposite the courthouse and next to the Savoy Museum, was a delightful discovery. We were offered a Savoyard dish with a good white wine from Savoy. You can eat on the terrace or inside. The decor is tasteful and the service very pleasant.

26/08/2026: We came for crepes in the afternoon. The waiter was very friendly and professional! The crepes he made were delicious, and the fillings were perfectly balanced. There wasn't much of a wait. I highly recommend it!
